Her Last Breath Another exciting novel from Linda Castillos! I could not put the book down. Loved each twist and turn; sadden by the end of Kate's childhood friendship, fear for what lies ahead for 't wait for the next book!!/5().   Her Last Breath (Book): Castillo, Linda: When her best friend's husband and two children are killed in a suspicious car accident, Chief of Police Kate Burkholder maintains a vigil by a grievously injured survivor who may hold answers before investigating a brutal killer who makes her question everything about her Amish culture.

In The Last Breath by Sam Kahiga we have the theme of conflict, control, selflessness, sacrifice, love, gratitude and change. Narrated in the first person by an unnamed narrator the reader realises from the beginning of the story that Kahiga might be exploring the theme of conflict and love. Despite her fears, Kate works around the clock on finding a motive for the deaths and discovers some ugly truths about her quiet town. The fifth in the series (Breaking Silence, 2 , etc.) continues to provide details on the Amish way of life along with a fast-paced mystery that will leave readers stunned.

Her Last Breath by J A Schneider This was billed as a chilling psychological thriller with a shocking twist. And that was true. I didn’t see the end coming, although afterwards with hindsight, there were a few clues along the way. I won’t say anything that will help you figure it out. It was fast paced and exciting/5(). Get this from a library! Her last breath. [Tracy Buchanan] -- Food writer Estelle Forster has the perfect life. And with her first book on the way, it's about to get even better. When Estelle hears about Poppy O'Farrell's disappearance, she assumes the girl has.
